Lonely Poem: Lost and Lonely

Lost and Lonely

I can be surrounded by friends,

Yet still be lonely.

I could everything the way I'd somewhat want it,

But still see something missing.

I would be the only one around smiling,

Even though it'd be fake.

I may be having a great time,

And still wish I was some where else.

I can be happy,

Yet be sad deeper down.

I could see the plus side of life,

But still see the cup as half empty.

I would be running around laughing,

Even though it wasn't that funny.

I may look like the happiest person around..

But, then again, we all feel completely lost and lonely at times.
